A native Georgian, Dr. Hsu attended Georgia Tech where she graduated early with honors in Mechanical Engineering. After completing undergrad, Dr. Hsu received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and pursued a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics at the University of Southern California to expand her understanding of surgical implant design.
Dr. Hsu specializes in both adult and adolescent sports medicine, shoulder surgery, and athlete's elbow and has completed fellowships and training with some of the most prestigious sports medicine institutions in the nation, including Tufts University-New England Medical Center and Columbia University in New York City. While in New York, Dr. Hsu also trained with Yankee team physicians, assisting in care for professional athletes.
In addition, Dr. Hsu's research has been published in esteemed sports-medicine journals, and she has authored educational resources covering topics such as total and reverse shoulder arthroplasty and examination of the athlete's elbow.
