Dr. Stephen Rodes is a board-certified physician in orthopedic surgery who joined Northside Cherokee Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in 2017. Dr. Rodes is an honor graduate of the University of Georgia, and received his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga before completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Cincinnati.
Dr. Rodes has expertise in the minimally-invasive, arthroscopic treatment of shoulder, knee and elbow, as well as shoulder and knee replacement. He brings experience treating athletes at every level, and has served as team physician for Georgia Highlands and Shorter University. He has served as a resident physician for other sports teams, including the Tennessee Titans, University of Tennessee – Chattanooga, and the University of Cincinnati. He currently serves as a team physician for Reinhardt College.
In his free time, he enjoys running in 5 and 10k races, spending time with his family and golfing.
